Last month, Bandai Namco’s official website for Dragon Ball Discross announced the impending cancellation of the product following its Phase 3 release.
Discross, announced and debuting back in December 2014, allowed players to purchase ¥100 toys from capsule machines to play a specialized arcade game. Bonus toys were also packed in with various magazines and merchandise over the subsequent years.
A promotional manga, Dragon Ball Discross Divine Power God MAX!!, had been running in Shueisha’s bimonthly Saikyō Jump magazine since its March 2015 issue, with the series’ 11th and final chapter published last month in the magazine’s November 2016 issue.
