Now Piccolo out of all of those present, could manipulate his ki the best, and as such was probably suppressing it the most. I hear this a lot, and it really seems like it's not based on any true information. Yes. Even if it were true, Dabura cannot sense his ki anyway, or anybody's for that matter.

Dabura can't sense ki so how he figured who was the strongest three is beyond me. Fact is, it was just a plot device to spotlight the Saiyans.
