After scanning the synopsis, it honestly sounds like a fantastic time for fans of the franchise. Everyone sounds very in character, Freeza himself sounds like he's in top form. Color me excited.

I have a feeling Beerus and Whis are going to let events unfold without intervening for the most part. They seem like the kind of guys that would say "if you can't defeat Freeza and save earth, that's your own damn fault."

It's absolutely got the cheap fanfiction vibe going. Dragonballs used to bring back dusty old villain that hasn't been relevant in years! Magical bullshit explanation (or lack thereof) makes him more powerful than makes sense! God tier protagonists get the shit beat out of them for no real reason! ...

Guys, it's hard to write a script that involves stand-out moments for 15+ characters. Do you really want every new movie/work to be a reunion setting?

woah that stuff looks like a lot of fun! Would love to know what hijinks are happening. I don't know about you guys but I hope Freeza is played for laughs for as much as tastefully possible before shit gets real. I really think he's excellent as a comedic backboard, despite all his seriousness.
