Re: Akira Toriyama Autograph/Sketch Authentification/Reference?
I don't have it, I'm afraid. I can tell you that Trunks piece is 100% fake though. It's pretty horribly drawn; the face is all messed up, the arms are wobbly with zero stroke confidence, and the signature looks like it was written incredibly slowly in a careful attempt to match the original, which j...

Re: Akira Toriyama Autograph/Sketch Authentification/Reference?
Everything on Yahoo Auctions and eBay is fake. Over the past 7 years, I've seen exactly one authentic piece listed and that was on Mandarake. It sold for absolutely ludicrous money.

Re: Dragon Ball Movies HD Remaster - Amazon Video/Netflix Japan - Discussion Thread
Pretty much this. There's a massive difference between the depth of the work that goes into a professional colour grade vs the bizarro tints found on these iffy remasters.

Re: Dragon Ball Movies HD Remaster - Amazon Video/Netflix Japan - Discussion Thread
Green tint is theater gradation, i think if i correctly remember Ajay told it once cause it's that was answered by Funimation or something like that it also explain why the Toei remastered movies also have green tint on them Green tint is not something you can see only in DB, most movies nowadays h...

Re: Super Animation Catalogue 2.0
For other shows, something seasonal with top-tier action like Mob Psycho 100 has around 8000 frames per episode on average, with bigger episodes hitting upwards of 15,000. That show consistently produced work that was certainly better looking that just double the frame count would suggest, and that...

Re: Super Animation Catalogue 2.0
I had a question about the animation and I thought this would be the appropriate thread to ask. In an interview with Tatsuya Nagamine, he said "Typically 3,500 to 4,000 frames are used to make one episode of an anime, but they used about double that for the finale. I was like, “What, double? W...

It's the scan quality rather than the cels, which is why I always recommend ignoring broken photos that you can't fix yourself with basic white balance.

Colour correcting is about restoring warped colours back to how they originally looked, yeah.

Re: Funimations 30th anniversary collectible home video release
This honestly doesn't look anywhere near as bad as people make it out to be. Because the Saiyan arc is crushed to shit, which is the only reason the lines are remotely black. Go a little bit further you and you can enjoy some watery, smeary horse shit. https://i.postimg.cc/14hyxY37/CXRAW-Dragon-Bal...

I'm not sure what's being asked, but generally the answer to "Can I skip this thing" is "Please don't".

You desperately need to reevaluate your life if you've been stewing over a locked thread for a week, to the point of submitting a silly kamikaze post like this.
The issue was politely explained to you via DMs, your thread's question was answered, and for some reason this is your reaction? Bizarre.

130 eps or so are done so far. Been going for a few months now. Won't be releasing until it's all finished though.

Re: Minority representation for minority characters in Voice acting
Then 1% is still enough. Jesus fucking Christ. Do you need to justify your existence to a society that hates you constantly? No? 'Cause I do, and so do many other minorities in various parts of the nations they live in. You want us to not only justify our existence but also justify our right to rep...

Re: Color Correcting the Dragon Box - 3 Part Spectacular
Ah, very nice. Though, that last one is a reminder that the cel colors were never intended to be the colors. They often used red lines which appear brown or black on film. This isn't true. The red lines you're seeing are just where they've faded over the years due to exposure. They're black origina...

On the subject of thumbnails and titles, I'm just gonna link LinusTechTips' take on it . Can tell you as another YouTuber who's gone through this stuff, Mark is bang on the money, and nobody likes it, but it is a necessity. Even your high-brow content creators like Tom Scott have to do it. The YouTu...

Re: Would Buu Kai be in 4:3 if it didn't air in Japan like originally intended?
When Toei decided to make Kai 1.0, Anime was still being produced and aired in 4:3, so they decided to remaster it in that aspect ratio. When it was time to air Kai, the majority if not all anime moved completely to 16:9, which is why that's how it aired in Japan. When Kai 2.0 was being made, there...

I like the DB ones but the Z ones just look like the old singles, right down to the tint and purple shirt.
