Another thing I find kinda funny with the second one is Bardock's stance. I mean, he has his arms kind of crossed, but his has open palms over his sides, and when you do that yourself, it isn't all that "masculine" or macho as he and the other Saiya-jins are, ya know?

Really, his hair works just like Mickey Mouses ears used to work (or still do, I dunno) in that they always stay the same shape and retain the appreance from any angle to keep the trademark image.

I have to agree on that. Since I had obtained my tin box of it, I think I had watched the Trunks special a good 5-6 times by the end of the week. Man, that special was great, and like it was said above, those fights were awesome.
