So it's semi-old news at this point, but while I'm working on a list for something, and watching the Legacy of Goku playthrough from TFS Plays - oh man. Such good memories of this game. I still enjoy it for what it is actually though - it's imperfect, but...I've played worse. Far, far worse. *cough*Taiketsu*cough*.

Oh, and as bad as the animated intro to the game is? It's...it's nothing on what the GBA Video cartridge for Dragon Ball GT's first two (well, the 'A Grand Problem' thing and episode...17? Whatever, first two episodes of the initial dub) episodes look and sound like. Jeebus. Oddly enough, I don't recall the intro for Legacy of Goku II looking near that bad, so I dunno what happened in that case.

With the climax of the Cell saga approaching, I'm wondering if they'll actually have Vegeta throw a dog treat at #16's severed head and if they do, it'll be interesting to see how they'll handle the seriousness of that scene.

Well Kaiser said they have a 100 or so planned episodes and we just hit 51. Depending on how long they intend to do Buu, Cell could last another 6-10 episodes.

I really hope that doesn't happen. I don't want them to alter Gohan's SSJ2 transformation THAT much. Especially by adding comedy and throwbacks to it. It's just such a dramatic and iconic scene in the original. Playing it for comedy would ruin both it, and the subsequent fight.

Although they could always do it when Cell initially destroys 16, before the Cell Jrs.

I wouldn't be surprised if at least certain elements of Gohan's SS2 transformation are played, more or less, straight. That was how the transformation for Goku was handled, so I'm predicting something sorta-similar to be done here most likely.

Though if there's not at least one joke somewhere in there about Gohan's rage being more so at his father than anything else, especially given how they've been kind of building that up for a while now, then I'll be disappointed.

Well, this is a parody. The most iconic scenes are arguably the ones that require the most parodying in a parody.

I dunno. What with Hellsing, and the fact they'd have to do both Plan to Eradicate the Super Saiyans and Broly before the Cell Games starts, AND they'll probably do World's Strongest...I don't expect the arc to end until 2017.

Best to skip the stuff with Tao since hes DB and it never got abridged by TFS. Though once DBZ is finished....

If they were to abridge it, it could work by framing it as a flashback (maybe Gohan asking how his father and mother met). Goku and the other Z Fighters could poke fun at past events and it’d make for a lot of comedic potential.

Imagine Gohan:

“Wait, so you tapped Mom’s neatherregions, met her once or twice again briefly and then got married after a martial arts fight?”

“Yep!”

“The more I know, the less I comprehend...”

They could easily condense three episodes into one so it doesn’t go one as long. Maybe each arc could be like a mini-movie.
