Hikari no Willpower was pretty much an instant sell tbh. That and "don't lose your head" to #16.

So whoever it was that said that Vegeta's at his best when he gets outclassed and dominated was right on the money because...wow. That episode was catharsis á la mode. Good 'ol Veggie getting put in his place lie the good little measuring stick he is, which is the closest thing to a ruler that he'll ever be.

I thought he had mixed feelings towards his father. He claims to hate him in the Season 1, but yet treasures the armour his father gave him and attacked Yajirobe because he disrespected him. Also he shows distaste when Freeza said the story about how he killed his father

Okay, most of it is un-listen-able garbage, but when he has a good track, it's a damn good track.

Cool episode.

Finally, I thought the father bit was Cell trying to strike a nerve, so he took a random shot in the dark. Because, you know, you expect a guy like Vegeta to have a lot of issues. Them being father issues is a good place to start.
