In the Polish version of the manga, Trunks also said that he wrote it...

Steve Simmons's subtitles for episode 140 of DBZ have Trunks tell Bulma "Yeah. These are the letters you wrote here when I took off."

Listening to the Japanese audio, I got "ええ。 おれが出発の時に書いた文字です。", which... basically says they were written when he left without actually specifying who wrote them.

No, he clearly says he wrote it himself. "Ore ga" is the subject in that sentence. If he says "Ore no shuppatsu no toki ni kaita moji desu." or "Ore ga shuppatsu suru toki ni kaita moji desu.", it can be taken as what you said. You can say "Ore no shuppatsu no toki ni kaasan ga kaita moji desu" or "Ore ga shuppatsu suru toki ni kaasan ga kaita moji desu.", but "Ore ga shuppatsu no toki ni kaasan ga kaita moji desu." would be grammatically wrong. This is obviously Steve Simmons' mistake.

Ah, I see. I figured that the "Ore ga" was only connected to "shuppatsu", leaving the "kaita" ambiguous, but yeah. You're a native speaker and I'm not, so I'll take your word for it.

According to the Toonzone forums starting next week Kai will be back to 2 episodes a week on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Okay, good. I'm starting to get sick of this one a week thing. Now that Kai is over in Japan, they should be faster than usual. And, this'll be a good way to start off the Cell arc. :D

I thought survive was an okay word to use. Hell, Nicktoons even said "Who will survive? And who will perish?" in one of their promos... Unless I'm wrong, didn't Toonzai leave it alone when Kami said it in the Saiyan arc? Now it's just getting weird.

These edits confuse me.. I was watching the episode where Nappa gets killed by Vegeta. Soon after that I hear "Die". I was thinking that was a editing mistake maybe..

I don't like the music replacement one bit for the Saiyan saga.

Question: WTF was the blood recolored to in the flashbacks of Vegeta becoming super saiyan...it looks like well...piss. Literally.
GT isn't bad, just sucks ass in comparison to the other 2 animes.

You should probably see a doctor if your urine is that orange.

Dude, you have just inadvertently brought it to my attention that I used a Nicktoons screen shot for that edit! I had no idea I did this. Wow. Well, guess I'll fix it in time since it's a dialogue edit, it still gets the point across, no need to do it right now.

Still makes no sense that they're suddenly censoring 'survive' now. (By the way, you also spelled they're wrong. XD)

My TV Settings make it look yellow, so if its orange, my bad ;p but either way, WTF is it supposed to be?

I didn't wanna write "they're" because I was writing how the character was speaking. He says "there" but I couldn't use THAT "there" so... I just did "the're".

Shit, did I just make up a word? OK, I'm gonna just delete that image and fix it later. I have to run now.

Didn't they censor Bardock's scar in the first episode but not in a flashback?

Sounds like something they would do. If you find out what episode the flashback is in, I would like to see if I caught it. If not, I'll just add it.

You caught it, but you labeled it as a blood edit. XD It's an episode 42.

Oh, cool. Thanks for including the images too! This will make it easier for me to update later. I'd love to update right now but, I'm sitting in traffic. :(

I'm guessing they realized their mistake and kept it in this time. Kinda wish they left the cut on his chest alone, though.
