I know we all can't wait but except the feeling "oh it is another new episode" I don't think this one, very first episode will give us that much. There would have to be something very significant for a first episode to setup things. Like GT did with its wish.

I doubt that's the official logo. It's the old font from the manga with Super attached to it.

That can hardly be considered a "logo". Logo fonts tend to be more stylized, I think that's simply WSJ identifying the subject they were talking about on that page.

Pretty much, there's no logo design there whatsoever. At least it's good to have July 5 date confirmed

That was not a translation, just Beerus-sama commenting on Goten's line about getting to do the fusion with Trunks again.
There's no "Gohan telling Goten he is missing out".

I didnt translate the line since I feared it would be bad...
but basically it said:

(Goten) "Yaaay, I'll do tons of fusions with Trunks again!"

With both previous anime series' initials before it? It feels too obvious without reading it, but it's something along the lines of:

"DB, DBZ, DBGT...The most recent series (refering to Super here) will surpass all that came before it!!!"
(That's also funny, because the kanji for the verb "surpass" is the kanji for "Super" when used by itself, like in the series' title.)

It seems it's worth pointing out that this does not mean that Super takes place after GT, only that it's refering to the animated DB series that came before it.

Just like that's not the logo. Seriously, that's as much of a logo for the anime as this.

Yeah, I liked his new look too.

If they set Super right after EoZ they would have a characters on all age groups.

"Mature" Adults- Goku/Vegeta/Bulma/Piccolo
Adults - Gohan/Videl
Teens - Trunks/Goten/Marron
Kid- Uub
Younger kids - Pan/Bra

judging by how Goten's line is structured, with that ワ～イ　(Waaai) at the begining, sounds like its kid Goten...

It looks like we still don't have any new story info still. A few years after Buu hardly tells us much. Even GT has it's plot summary saying it takes place after many years since Buu was destroyed from what I can remember.

At last! We've finally gotten something on Super, even if it isn't anything major. In regards to the logo, I don't mind it if that's what ends up being used, simple but sweet.

This isn't the logo, it's just part of the magazine layout. The magazine is just as clueless as us regarding this series and they even have to use an old SSJ Goku art with Kame Gi because they have nothing to show.
