Re: Am I the only one who feels like I missed out on Dragon Ball?
I got into the franchise near the end of it's heyday in North America which was 2002. My experience at the mostly with the buu arc along with bits of the namek and garlic jr arcs. I experienced the other arcs as I got older.

Haven't we already gotten these in GT? Goku dies, the DBs go away, and the Namekian DBs most likely won't be used again because of the Evil Dragons.

I always side eye the people who say "Now my kids/today's kids can experience what I did as a child!" Nigga, who gives a fuck about your childhood? You're an adult now and it was at least 15 years ago. Let the kids have their own experience instead of picking at a corpse.

So you did, what does it matter? Good thing about the internet, amongst its many flaws, is the fact that you can connect with people sharing the exact same experiences as circumstances as you, meaning you can effectively get the same experience, albeit at a lesser scale perhaps, as someone who was there since the start.
Also as some folks mentioned, you're witnessing a revival at the moment. It seems the franchise will continue to pick up steam from here.
