Baby Gamera is a really neat mini-version of Gamera, which Kame-Sen’nin uses to travel to Mount Frypan while riding on his back. He can pull his arms and legs into his body and release a fire through the holes, propelling him and his rider through the air while spinning.

Gamera was a popular series produced by Daiei Motion Picture Company in 1965 to rival the success of Toho Studios’ Godzilla. In the films, Gamera was an ancient species of gigantic tusked tortoise who protected and befriended children. Hence in Dragon Ball, Baby Gamera is a mini-version or pun on the original Gamera series.

Buyon is the mysterious monster that lives on the fifth floor of Muscle Tower in Jingle Village. His elastic body makes him virtually immune to any of his victum’s attacks. However, Goku realizes his one weakness is the extreme cold, and after freezing him, shatters Buyon into tiny pieces with a single kick.
