Comment by Toyotarō-sensei:
I drew these chapters because, since I liked the “Gohan High School Arc,” I kinda wanted to throw Trunks and Goten into a similar set of circumstances.

I was really happy when Toriyama-sensei gave me the go-ahead after hearing my proposal. I made sure to be careful and reflect that Future Trunks and Present Trunks have different personalities. I really like this added dimension to teenage Trunks that he’s really awkward at romance despite being a good-looking guy.

Prequel chapters not present in the movie Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero that depict Trunks and Goten working as heroes! We dared to interview Toyotarō-sensei in order to lay bare what makes this manga-original story tick!!

For this third installment, we’re diving deep into the Super Hero arc’s prequel chapters!! The secret stories behind the creation of the Super Hero arc laid bare for all to read! For the cover page, Toyotarou-sensei drew this special illustration of Goten and Trunks, who played a big role in the Super Hero arc!!
