Chapter Synopsis

‘Goku’ gets knocked back into the ship, but gets up and throws a ki blast at Gohan. Gohan easily blocks it though, and jokes about its ineffectiveness. ‘Goku’ can’t believe this, and Kuririn asks if he heard what Goku said before about not being able to use that body. Kuririn says he should give up, and ‘Goku’ just gets pissed and starts punching at him, but Kuririn easily blocks everything. Meanwhile, Vegeta and Jheese exchange blows, and Jheese wonders how Vegeta isn’t showing up on his scouter. Vegeta says he relies on his scouter too much, and that he’d understand if he fought those guys. Jheese can’t believe Vegeta would be any kind of match for him, but Vegeta says Jheese is just afraid, and tells him to check his beloved scouter. Jheese looks, and freaks out, thinking it must be broken. Vegeta explains that he’s surpassing Saiyan limitations and his strength is continually increasing. “The truth is, I’ve now also realized it… The growth of this power, it’s not like that of an ordinary genius… In other words, I’m also rapidly approaching… becoming a Super Saiyan!”

Jheese tells Vegeta to cut the crap. Vegeta says Kakarrot can’t become a Super Saiyan, but he’s different. Then Vegeta kicks Jheese in the face, flies after him, and bashes Jheese in the chest, busting his armor. Jheese is upside down now, and he coughs up blood as Vegeta puts his palm near Jheese’s face. Then, boom, Vegeta lets off a huge blast right at Jheese, and completely obliterates him. ‘Ginyu’ thinks he over did it, but Vegeta goes on about Kakarrot being too naive, and that’s why he can’t become a Super Saiyan. ‘Goku’ can’t believe Jheese was killed by Vegeta, and Vegeta decides since they still haven’t finished off Ginyu, he’ll do it himself.

Vegeta flies over and hits ‘Goku’ hard in the gut, then punches him off into the distance. Vegeta flies behind ‘Goku’, kicks him up into the air, and then pounds him down into the ground. ‘Goku’ can hardly move, and Gohan and Kuririn are shocked. ‘Ginyu’ tells Vegeta that’s enough, and not to kill him. But Vegeta announces this is the final blow, and begins to fly straight at ‘Goku’. ‘Ginyu’ notices that ‘Goku’ is smirking, and realizes what he’s planning to do. As Vegeta quickly approaches, ‘Goku’ suddenly yells out, “CHAAAAAAAAANGE!!!!!”
